(Marketwire - 10/07/09) – EmergingGreenCompanies.com today announced its plans to cover the Algal Biomass Summit in San Diego, California October 7-9.

During the Summit J. Craig Venter, who is currently involved with the Exxon Corporations Algae Bio Fuel project is expected to be part of the opening keynote.

Representatives from EmergingGreenCompanies.com will be on site to see recent developments of the 25 exhibitors, as well as conducting interviews with companies including Biocentric Energy Holdings Inc. (OTC: BEHL – News)

The Summit itself is a three-day event exploring the development of algae-based solutions to global energy, environmental, and economic issues. We hope that some of the large companies attending such as Boeing, Exxon, and Raytheon pay attention to companies such as Biocentric Energy. Seeing how according to Biocentric Energy, they posses technology and strains of algae that are far ahead of their competition.

According to Biocentric Energy they will be promoting the “Lowest Cost and Most Effective PhotoBioreactor on the open market” at the summit.

The Algal Biomass Summit coverage will be able to be viewed by clicking on the following link to the Emerging Green Companies Media page. We will announce when the first videos are posted

In my opinion when one contemplates the enormous potential of algae, and consider the ease with which it grows and the multi-uses for various strains, how can one not see the benefits of owning algal companies, such as BEHL and others.
